CP Orutugu authorizes the burial of lifeless  3 siblings found in a fridge.

The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu,has granted the request by the bereaved family of the three children found in a fridge at Nnewi,  to go ahead and bury their children

The CP who gave the permission at Nnewi when he visited  the parents of  the children for the second time acknowledged the grief of the family and assured them of swift police action when necessary pending the complete investigation.

The  Commissioner of Police  further stated that the Command is working diligently to unravel the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.

He assured that the Command wishes to state that the details of the investigation are still incomplete.

 While insisting that the command would uncover everything behind the death of the three innocent children, he and urged Ndi Anambra and concerned to be patient and seeks continuous cooperation from the Community/Area to provide justice for the victims and their families.

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and his Enugu State counterpart, Dr Peter Mbah have pledged their solidarity and support to the administration and broad vision of the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Professor Benard Odoh.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November. According to the statement signed by its Director of Publicity Comerade Emma Powerful the body said that it has to call off the Sit At Home Order following the appeal by the elders in the South East coupled with the grave economic implications of the strike on the people.
