APC set to unseat Soludo, as Chukwuma provides edifice  Secretariat .

Everything is now set for the All Progressive Congress (APC) to defeat the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming Anambra State governorship poll as a leading contestant, Sir Paul Chukwuma gifted the party a befitting secretariat.



The new APC Secretariat, located opposite Anambra State government house and close to Ecobank, along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Awka, is fully furnished with open parking spaces and others.

Chukwuma, an educationist, philanthropist and former National Internal Auditor of APC has consistently supported the party in the various ways in the past, which was why he committed the secretariat to assist them in running their daily activities.

The National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, who commissioned the secretariat, described it as a step in right direction, and clear sign that the State was prepared to embrace the party in the November 2025 gubernatorial poll.



Ganduje, who reassured commitment of the National party towards reclaiming Anambra State from the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) with a view to continue with national reconciliation, unity in diversity and development.

He said he was sure that winning the State on November 2025 gubernatorial poll would reconnect Anambra to the national for speedy development, as well as entrench internal democracy, security and economic recovery for businesses to thrive 

The National Chairman, therefore, sought cooperation of the party chieftains at grassroots to make it achievable.

Also speaking, the National Secretary, APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru commended Anambra State for embracing the party which according to him, signifies that Governor Chukwuma Soludo of APGA has been given yellow card and would further receive red card at the main election.

On his part, the State Chairman of APC, Hon. Basil Ejidike urged intervention of the party in empowering their members with leadership positions and other enablement so as to emerge victorious at Governorship poll which he said they have articulated blueprint and guiding principles.

Earlier, the leading governorship aspirant of the party, Sir Paul Chukwuma welcomed new entrants to the APC, urging them not to bring division and hatred but work with existing structures in peace and harmony to ensure that the party record victory.

Chukwuma, who described APC as disciplined and principled political party, assured the national leadership that they would clinch victory once he secured the party ticket as candidate because of his intimidating support.

  Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November.
