Anambra Community Gets N140 M Empowerment As Ex - Council Boss Celebrates Crime Free Xmas . NKIRU NWAGBO. The people of Onne Community in Orumba South local government area of Anambra state yesterday got empowered by gifts to the tune of N140 million from the Ezeakunne Foundation. Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has cancelled an election purportedly held by Oba community in Idemili South Local Government Area to elect a traditional ruler and order for an arrest of anyone parading himself as Igwe. The purported election was said to have held on Saturday, in violation of a matter that is still being determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, which was instituted by some interested person in the matter..   Anambra: Soludo Determined To  Complete 621km road projects, Gets Second Term Endorsement By Nkiru Nwagbo Awka. Anambra  state Commissioner for Works, Engr Ifeanyi Okoma has disclosed that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led government had awarded a total of 621. 649 kilometers of roads out of which 316 kilometers have been completed while others are at various stages of being completed.
