Anambra Speaker Charges Leaders To Serve With Fear Of God.

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has called on leaders at different levels to serve with uttermost sense of responsibility and fear of God irrespective of their religious affiliations.


Felicitating Muslims on behalf of the State Legislature as they celebrate the feast of Eid-El-Kabir,Rt.Hon.Udeze stressed the need for peace and tolerance to thrive among members of diverse religious bodies in the country in order to achieve sustainable peace and development.


The Speaker urged Nigerians especially Muslims to seize the opportunity of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration to pray for the corporate existence of different tribes in the country, adding that with collective prayer, most of the ethnic, socio-economic and other challenges confronting the Nation will be addressed.


He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for providing an enabling environment for the Muslims in the State to propagate their faith and earn a living, emphasizing the need for them to reciprocate the gesture by giving maximum support to his administration.


Rt.Hon.Udeze enjoined Muslims to eschew bitterness and resentment and reconnect themselves to those things that will continue to uplift the people and unite the Nation.

A total of 17 Buildings have so far been marked for demolition in Uli Community in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state. Similarly a heavy  deployment of officers and men of the Police and the Army have been made to commence day and night strikes in the four villages that make up the community in order to restore peace and security in the area.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates.   Ada Jesus dies at 27 in Abuja hospital days after an encounter with Odumeje. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake.
