 CP Adeoye extends hands of partnership to FRSC on traffic management, others..




Anambra Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye has soughted for collaboration with the  the Federal Road Safety Corps RS5.3 Anambra State sector Command.

CP Adeoye revealed his intentions When he paid a courtesy call to Anambra Sector Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi

He listed the areas where Police Command would want to partner with FRSC to include traffic management, prosecution of traffic offenders, joint operations among others.

In the same vain, the commissioner of police  also visited the *National Vehicle Identification Scheme* (NVIS) Plant, Awka where Vehicle Number Plates are produced. He was presented with a ceremonial number Plate.




The ceremonial plate  number which  read *_”CP ADEOYE"_*was presented to him by the by the Sector Commander.

He assured the Corps of  sustained deployment of armed police officers to ensure adequate  protection of the facility. 



In the entourage of the *CP* include  CSP Williams Odumu, Ops Officer; CSP Ewere Okundaye, OC SIB and DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, Police PRO.

In a similar development, the  *CP* received in audience the leadership of the Anambra State House of Assembly led by the Speaker Rt. Hon Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze in his Office at Anambra State Police Command Headquarters, Amawbia, Awka. 




The Speaker welcome the New Commissioner of Police and express the readiness of the State lawmakers to support the Police and other Security Agencies, especially in making relevant laws that will help in facilitating the administration of criminal justice in the State.

In attendance were Hon. Ofodeme Ikenna - Majority Leader and Member, Representing Ekwusigo;  Hon. Johnbosco Akaegbobi - Minority Leader and Member, Representing Nnewi South 1; Hon. Obu Paul - Minority Whip and Member Representing Orumba North;  Hon. Atuchukwu Nonso - Member Representing Nnewi south 2 and Hon. Igwe Noble - Member Representing Ogbaru 1.

A total of 17 Buildings have so far been marked for demolition in Uli Community in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.   IPOB Suspends Sit At Home. The Indegeous People Of Biafra IPOB yesterday made a change of heart by suspending the proposed Sit At Home Order billed to commence on the fifth of November. Recall that the Director of Publicity for the body had earlier announced that it would commence a Sit At Home strike on the fifth of this month if it's leader Mazi Nnamd Kanu is not released unconditionally on the fourth of November. According to the statement signed by its Director of Publicity Comerade Emma Powerful the body said that it has to call off the Sit At Home Order following the appeal by the elders in the South East coupled with the grave economic implications of the strike on the people.   Anambra Tribunal Strikes Out Maduka Petition. Four More May Withdraw. As Soludo , Uba Set To Inspect Materials . NKIRU NWAGBO. The Anambra governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka today stuck out the petition filed by the candidate of Accord party Dr Godwin Maduka. Similarly there indications that four more petitioners may withdraw their petitions against the victory if the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA following alleged internal challenges that has to do with the discrepancies between the political parties and their respective candidates.   Ada Jesus dies at 27 in Abuja hospital days after an encounter with Odumeje. Mercy Cynthia Mmesoma Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus has died in an Abuja hospital of complications arising from kidney failure, few days after an encounter with Onitsha-based preacher, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, alias  Odumeje , inside his church. A video surfaced recently where the 27-year-old seriously sick young lady was taken to the pastor, to whom she went to seek forgiveness for her earlier comments, suggesting that his miracles were fake. But, the eccentric cleric boldly pointed out that he would not forgive her, and instead, laid more curses, including saying she would die of her sickness, as she lay on the floor, with her family members pleading her case.
