The Commissioner for Information and Public enlightenment Mr. C. Don Adinuba who dropped this hint in a security review report he signed yesterday in Awka, said the review has resulted in traffic delays at security checkpoints in different parts of the state.
Continuing the report read" The delays have caused much inconvenience to travellers who are sometimes required to disembark from their vehicles for security checks.
"We are much aware that a lot of our people have been returning home from far and near to join their families, associates and friends to not only celebrate Easter but also participate in a lot of social events, including fund raisers for scholarships and development projects.
"While apologising to all and sundry for the considerable delays and accompanying inconvenience which Ndi Anambra are experiencing,
"we urge them to continue to cooperate fully with various security officers. The ongoing security review is for the public good. The protection of the life and property of every Anambra person is a fundamental commitment of the Governor Willie Obiano administration.
